HTET Study Material PDF 2024: HTET 2024 is the state level eligibility test for the candidates who want to become a teacher in the state of Haryana. BSEH conducts Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) every year for lakhs of students in Haryana. Since the HTET online application process has been closed, candidates must start preparing for the exam. The HTET exam is going to be held on November 2024, the candidate has very limited time to prepare for the exam.
Number Of Attempts in HTET There is no specific limit on how many attempts can be made to appear in this exam. As long as they fulfill the educational guidelines, they can apply for admission.
Educational Qualification
The educational qualification is different for each level. Level 1 is for primary teachers (classes 1 to 5), level 2 is for trained graduate teachers (classes 6 to 8) and level 3 requires postgraduate teachers (classes 8 above). The educational requirement for each level of HTET 2021 exam is discussed below:
Level-I for Primary Teacher (Class I to V)
- A candidate who wants to appear for level 1 examination must have passed 12th examination with minimum 50% marks and must have either passed Diploma in Elementary Education or appeared in the final examination.
For Level-II Trained Graduate Teacher (Class VI to VIII)
- To appear in Level 2 exam, a candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with B.Ed or appear in the final year and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
For Level-III Post Graduate Teacher (Class VIII above)
- To appear in level 3 exam, a candidate must have a master’s degree with B.Ed passed or appearing in the final examination and passed or appearing in the final examination of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education.
Age Range
- Candidates between the age group of 18 years to 38 years can apply for HTET 2021.

- HTET application fee can be paid in online mode through net banking, credit card or debit card.

HTET Selection Process
It is not enough just to qualify HTET 2021 exam to get call letter for interview. Candidates must fulfill all the eligibility criteria as per service rules to get the final appointment letter. The selection process gives importance to three things. They are as follows:
- Written Test: 80%
- Personal Interview: 12%
- Teaching Experience: 8%
HTET Exam Pattern with HTET Study Material PDF
HTET 2022 exam aspirants must have a clear idea about the exam paper pattern in terms of question type, marking scheme, exam duration etc. The detailed exam pattern is discussed below. The total number of questions for all the three levels is 150 and the total duration to solve all the three levels is 2 hours 30 minutes. HTET 2022 exam will be conducted in offline mode only i.e. it will be a pen and paper-based test.
Marking scheme
- For every correct response, +1 is given in HTET paper and there is no penalty for wrong answers, which means there is no negative marking in HTET 2022 exam.
- An OMR sheet will be provided to the candidates where they have to select the answer for the respective option by darkening the circle. The following table shows the general specifications of HTET 2022 exam.
