  • Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University/ Institute.
  • Diploma/Certificate of at least six months course in Computer Application
  • Certificate of typing proficiency of 40 words per minute in English and 30 words per minute in Hindi.

Preferential Qualification :- A candidate –

  • who has served in the Territorial Army for at least two years, or
  • One who has obtained a ‘B’ certificate of the National Cadet Corps, other things being equal, at the time of interview will be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment to the establishment.

Pre Exam Pattern

The competitive examination for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination, 2021 and Assistant Conservator of Forest / Range Forest Officer Services Examination, 2021 comprise three successive stages viz :-

  • The Written test will be multiple choice objective type.
  • The Preliminary examination will consist of two compulsory papers.
  • The papers shall be of 200 marks each and of Two Hours duration.
  • Both the papers shall be objective Type & multiple choice in which there shall be 150-100 questions Respectively.
  • For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty

Mains Exam Pattern

The competitive examination for the Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination, 2021 and Assistant Conservator of Forest / Range Forest Officer Services Examination, 2021 comprise three successive stages viz :-

  • The Mains Examination will consist of Six Compulsory Papers & One Optional Subject Paper.
  • Time Duration for each papers will be three hours but general studies will be two hours.
  • There will be One Optional Subject Paper Which Will be of 200 Marks.
  • Paper II Will be Qualifying Nature (Minimum Passsing Marks : 33% in Paper II)

  • All question papers must be answered in Hindi or English. Question papers will be set in Hindi and English.
  • The duration of each of the papers referred to above will be three hours but general studies will be two hours.
  • Two hundred maximum marks has been allotted for each optional question paper.

Note: A candidate will be required to obtain such minimum marks in the compulsory paper of General Hindi, as may be prescribed by the Government or the Commission, as the case may be. Candidates have to answer only five questions while they have to select minimum two questions from each section.

Current Events of National and International Importance:- On current events of national and international importance, candidates will be expected to have knowledge about them.

History of India and Indian National Movement:- The emphasis should be on a comprehensive understanding of the social, economic and political aspects of Indian history in history. In the Indian National Movement, candidates are expected to have a similar view of the nature and character of the freedom movement, the growth of nationalism and the attainment of independence.

India and World Geography – Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and World: Only general understanding of the subject will be expected in World Geography. The questions on Geography of India will be related to the physical, social and economic geography of India.

Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc:- In Indian Polity, Economic and Culture, the questions will test the knowledge of the country’s political system including Panchayati Raj and community development, broad of economic Features Policy in India and Indian Culture.

Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demography, Social Sector Initiatives, etc:- Candidates will be tested in relation to the problems and relationship between population, environment and urbanization.

General Issues on Environmental Ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change – In which subject specialization is not required, candidates are expected to have a general awareness of the subject.

General Science:- General Science questions will include general understanding and understanding of science, which will include matters of everyday observation and experience, as may be expected of an educated person, who has made a special study of any scientific subject. not done.

OPTIONAL SUBJECTS

The total number of questions in the question papers of optional subjects will be eight. All questions will be of equal marks. Each paper will be divided into two parts, viz. Part A and Part B, each part has four questions. You have to attempt five questions out of eight questions. One question will be compulsory in each part. Candidates will have to answer three more questions out of the remaining six questions by taking at least one question from each part. Thus, at least two questions will be attempted from each part i.e. one compulsory question plus one more

How to Download UPPSC PCS Admit Card:-

UPPSC PCS Exam Pattern:-

The exam pattern for Provincial Civil Services (PCS) written exam is as follows:-

Pre exam pattern

  • The written test will be of objective type multiple choice.
  • There will be two compulsory papers in the preliminary exam.
  • The paper will be of 200 marks and of two hours duration.
  • Both the papers will be objective type and multiple choice having 150-100 questions respectively.
  • For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-third (0.33) of the marks
  • assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
Pay attention:

Paper-II of the Preliminary Examination will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks of 33%.
It is mandatory for the candidates to appear in both the papers of the preliminary examination for the purpose of evaluation. Hence a candidate will be disqualified if he/she does not appear in both the papers.
The merit of the candidates will be determined on the basis of marks

Main Exam Pattern

General Hindi, Essay and General Studies (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th paper)
The papers will be of conventional type and three hours are given to solve the questions.
03:00 Hours is given for Optional Question Papers.
A maximum of two hundred marks have been allotted for each optional question paper.

Age Range :

Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e. they must have been born not earlier than 2nd July 1982 and not later than 1st July 2001. For PH candidates, the maximum age limit is 55 years i.e. they must have been born not earlier than 02nd July, 1967.

  • Relaxation in upper age limit: (a) Upper age limit shall be more than five years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes of UP, Scheduled Tribes of UP, Other Backward Classes of UP, Skilled Sportsmen of UP. of classified sports, State Govt. Employees of UP which includes teachers/employees of Basic Education Council of Uttar Pradesh. and teachers/staff of government aided secondary schools of Uttar Pradesh. That is, he must have been born not earlier than July 2, 1975. (b) The upper age limit for physically handicapped persons of U.P. shall be more than fifteen years.
  • Upper age limit will also be more than five years for Group-B posts for Emergency Commissioned Officers/Short Service Commissioned Officers/Ex-Servicemen of Uttar Pradesh. Those who have served five years in the Army, but there will be no reservation for Group- ‘B’ posts. Age relaxation and reservation will be given as per rules in case of availability of Group ‘C’ posts in the examination.

  • Assistant Guardian – Rs. 15600/- to Rs. 39100/-, Grade Pay – 5400/-, (Level-10)
  • Range Forest Officer – Rs. 9300/- to Rs. 34800/-, Grade Pay – Rs. 4800/-, (Level-8 Pay)

Candidates should possess Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from any recognized university as on the last date of receipt of applications. The same should be mentioned by the candidate in the relevant column of his/her application form, but certain qualifications have been prescribed for certain posts, the details of which are given below:-

Designated Officer / Food Safety Officer (1) Master’s degree in Chemistry as a subject from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto, or (2) At least one of the qualifications prescribed for direct recruitment to the post of Food Safety Below Officer: Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology or Dairy Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or Agricultural Science or Veterinary Science or Bio-Chemistry or Microbiology or Master’s Degree in Chemistry or Medicine from a recognized University degree, or any other equivalent / recognized qualification notified by the Central Government, Provided that no person who has any financial interest in the manufacture, import or sale of any article of food shall be appointed as a Food Safety Officer.
Statistical officer Post Graduate Degree in mathematics or Mathematical Statistics or Statistics or Agricultural Statistics from a university recognized by Law in India or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
Labour Enforcement Officer Bachelor’s degree with Economics or Sociology or commerce and Post Graduate Diploma or Post graduate Degree in Law / Labour relation / Labor welfare / Labor Law / Commerce / Sociology / Social work / Social welfare / Trade Management / Personnel Management.

Under the Assistant Conservator of Forest / Range Forest Officer Services Examination.

For the Post of Assistant Conservator of Forest :-

Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with at least one subject in Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Geology, Forestry, Statistics or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a University established by law in India OR A foreign University approved from time to time by the Central Government, or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.

Preferential Qualification for Assistant Conservator of Forests:

A candidate who has (1) rendered at least two years’ service in the Territorial Army, or (2) N.C.C. Obtained “B” certificate. Whether other things being equal, preference will be given in the matter of direct recruitment.

For the post of Range Forest Officer:-

Essential Qualification- Bachelor’s degree with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Forestry, Geology, Agriculture, Statistics, Horticulture and Environment or two or more subjects or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or in Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto.

Preferential Qualification for Category Forest Officer:-

A candidate who has: (I) served in the Territorial Army for a period of not less than two years, or (II) obtained a ‘B’ certificate of the National Cadet Corps, or (III) in any sport of the State Other things being equal, preference should be given in the case of direct recruitment.

How to Pay Fee :

After filling the ‘Registration’ format of the candidates on-line application, the candidate must obtain the print-out of the e-challan in duplicate. E-Challan will be used by the candidate to deposit the fee in any branch of State Bank of India or Punjab National Bank as per his/her category. Fee payment will not be allowed through any mode other than e-challan.

Indian Navy SSR Recruitment :

Online applications are invited from unmarried male candidates (who fulfill the eligibility conditions prescribed by the Government of India) for enrollment as Sailors for SSR for 2000 vacancies (approximately) respectively in August 2022 batch.

Senior Secondary Recruitment (SSR) Aug/2022 Batch – 2000 Posts (Approx)

Educational qualification :-

Passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics and Physics and at least one of these subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science from a Board of School Education recognized by MHRD, Govt. of India.

Age :-

Candidates should be born between 01 Aug 2002 to 31 Jul 2005 (both dates inclusive).

Salary and Allowances :-

A stipend of ₹ 14,600/- per month will be admissible during the initial training period. On successful completion of initial training, they will be placed in Level 3 of Defense Pay Matrix (₹21,700- ₹69,100). In addition, they will be paid MSP @ ₹ 5200/- per month plus DA (as applicable) plus ‘X’ Group Pay {Artificer Apprentice (AA) only} @ ₹ 3600/- per month plus DA (as applicable) Will go Under Trainee and ₹ 6200/- per month plus DA on successful completion of AICTE recognized Diploma Course.

Application fee :-

Candidates (except SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) will have to pay a fee of Rs. 215/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifteen Only) through online mode by using Net Banking or by using Visa/Master/Rupay Credit/Debit Card/UPI. The admit card for the examination will be issued to only those candidates who have successfully paid the examination fee and are entitled for exemption in examination fee.

Selection criteria :-

The selection of the recruits is done on the basis of state wise merit of their performance in Computer Based Examination, subject to qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and fitness in medical examinations.
