SSC CGL 2021: Staff Selection Commission conducts the Combined Graduate Level Examination, known as SSC CGL. Update: ssc released the notification for SSC CGL 2020-21 exam. Online applications are available from 29 December 2020 to 31 January 2021.

  • SSC CGL candidate should be a citizen of India or Nepal or Bhutan. If a candidate is a citizen of Nepal or Bhutan will have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India in his / her favor.

SSC CGL 2021 Selection Process

|| Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, and Tier 4. || The SSC CGL exam is conducted in four stages

  • Tier-I: Computer Based Examination
  • Tier-II: Computer Based Examination
  • Tier-III: Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive Paper)
  • Data Entry Skill Test (wherever applicable) / Document Verification /Computer Proficiency Test.

Candidates securing SSC CGL cut-off in Tier I will be able to appear for Tier II examination.

  • Tier-II Paper-III (for the post of JSO and Statistics Investigator Grade-II), Tier-II Paper-IV (ie separate cut-off for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer and Assistant Accounts Officer) Will be done. ), And for

Marking Scheme For SSC CGL Exam

Normalization: if held in multiple shifts, will be normalized ,the marks scored by the candidates in the Tier-I and Tier-II examinations and such normalized marks will be considered final and the candidates are required to pass the next stage of the examination. And determine the final qualification.

  • SSC CGL 2021 conducted in online mode Tier 1 and Tier 2 exam.
  • The time duration 60 minutes for Tier-1 .
  • The time duration 120 minutes for Tier-2, 60 minutes each for English and Quants.
  • Tier-3 pen and paper mode will contain a descriptive paper of 100 marks within 60 minutes.
  • No sectional cut off
  • No Interview: The interview has been sent with the component. Therefore, there will be no interview
  • Skill test: Skill test is qualifying nature.
  • Final Merit List: Merit will be prepared on overall performance in Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III. Candidates have to qualify all the levels i.e. Tier-I, Tier-II and Tier-III. separately
  • Minimum Marks Required for Descriptive: Only those candidates who score at least minimum qualifying marks in the written test, which can be decided by the Commission at their discretion.

SSC CGL 2021 Latest Changes

  • In Tier-I , the minimum qualifying marks , each paper of Tier-II and Tier-III examination are as follows:
    Ur: 30%
    OBC / EWS: 25%
    Other: 20%
  • Tier-I and Tier-III examinations will be conducted for all the candidates qualified in Tier-I.
  • The candidates will be required to appear in Paper-I and Paper-II In Tier-II.
  • However, only the specific candidates selected for the posts of Assistant Audit Officer , Statistical Investigator , Assistant Accounts Officer , JSO are required to appear in Paper-III and Paper-IV respectively.
  • Examination dates for Tier 2 and Tier 3 will be available soon.
  • Only those candidates who were Tier II eligible, Tier III sheet will be evaluated.
  • Based on the overall performance of qualified candidates in Tier-I, Tier-II, and Tier-III examinations, candidates will be selected for Document Verification and Skill Test i.e. Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT).
  • The skill test is qualifying in nature and compulsory. If a candidate does not appear in the Skill Test or is not able to pass the Skill Test, he will not be eligible for the posts where CPT / DEST is mandatory.
  • Priority of the posts will be taken online from the candidates before DV or at the time of document verification.

SSC CGL 2021 Admit Card

SSC is going to issue the admit card of SSC CGL 2020-21 in May 2021. SSC CGL Tier II 2021 Admit Card will be issued 4-5 days before the exam.

SSC CGL Result 2021

  • SSC CGL Tier 1 in June 2021 SSC CGL Result has released the result.
  • The minimum qualifying marks in SSC CGL Tier I and Tier II are as follows:

  • Based on their performance in all levels, candidates will be shortlisted to appear in the medical examination. Candidates who qualify the medical examination will be called for detailed document verification.
  • The marks scored by the candidates in computer based examination will be normalized, such general marks will be used to determine the final qualification and cut off marks.

SSC CGL 2021 Resolution of Tie Cases

In the event of a tie in the marks of the candidates in the Tier-I plus Teir-II plus Tier-III examinations, one after the other, applying the following criteria, until the tie is resolved, the merit will be decided:

  • Total marks for Tier-II examination.
  • Total marks in Tier-III examination.
  • Total marks in Tier-I examination.
  • The date of birth, with the old candidate, is kept high.
  • First names appear , Alphabetical order in which candidates’ .

  • M / O Assistant in Mines (GSI)

Q. What posts does DEST need?
Answer: DEST is required for the post of Tax Assistant (Central Excise and Income Tax) and the candidate should be proficient in data entry.

Q. Will I get posting at my favorite place after clearing SSC CGL exam?
Answer: If you have scored enough marks, you will be posted at the place of your choice. However, there is a possibility that your posting location may be other than the ones you have chosen. The posting for the post you applied also depends on the cut-off of that place.
