Quantitative aptitude syllabus

Quantitative Aptitude Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidates and the appropriate use of numbers. The scope of the test will be the calculation of the relationship between whole number, decimal, fraction and number, regular polygon, circle, right prism, right circular cone, right circular cylinder, area, height and distances, histogram, frequency polygon, profit and loss, discount, partnership business,

mix and obligation, time and distance, time and work, percentage. Ratio and Proportional, Square Root, Average, Interest, School Algebra and Basic Algebraic Identification of Primary Surds, Graphs of Linear Equations, Triangles and its Different Types of Centers, Triangles and Circles and Its Chords, Tangents, Symmetries of Angles and Similarities of a Circle. Chord, common tangent, triangle, quadrilateral, bar diagram and pie chart for two or more circles. Hemisphere, rectangular parallel quadrilateral, triangular or square base, trigonometric ratio, degree and radian measures, standard identity, regular pyramids with complementary angles.

General Intelligence and Reasoning Syllabus

General Intelligence and Reasoning includes both oral and non-verbal questions. This component may include analogs, similarities and differences, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic logic and rhetorical classification, space visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, visual memory,arithmetic number series, non-queries. Verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusions, cialistic arguments, etc.

Paper-I (Quantitative Aptitude) Syllabus:

The questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate to number and appropriate use of numbers. The scope of the test will be the calculation between whole numbers, decimals, fractions and relationships between numbers, percentages, ratios and ratios, square root, income, interest, profit and loss, rebates, partnership trading, mix and liability, time and distance.

The questions in this section will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding and knowledge of the English language and will be based on error, detecting 21 blanks, synonyms, antonyms, spelling / misspelling words, idioms and phrases, Substitute a word, fill in. Sentence correction, active / passive voice of verbs, conversion to direct / indirect statement, shuffling of sentence parts, shuffling of sentences in a passage, close pass and grasp passage.

Paper-III (Statistics) Syllabus:

1. Collection, classification and presentation of statistical data – primary and secondary data, methods of data collection; Tabulation of data; Graphs and charts; Frequency distribution; Graphical presentation of frequency distribution.

2. Measures of central tendency – General measures of central tendency – median and mode; Split value- quartile, decile, percentile.

3. Measures of dispersion- General measures dispersion – range, quartile deviation, deviation and standard deviation; Measures of relative dispersion.

4. Moments, obliqueness and kurtosis – different types of moments and their relation; Skewness and kurtosis meaning; Different measures of skewness and kurtosis.

5. Correlation and regression – scatter diagrams; Simple correlation coefficient; Simple regression lines; Spearman’s rank correlation; Measures of association of characteristics; Multi-regression; Multiple and partial correlations (for only three variables).

6. Probability Theory – conditional probability; Compound probability; Independent events; Bayes ‟theorem, Meaning of probability; Various definitions of probability;

7. Random variables and probability distributions – Random variables; Probability function; Expectation and variance of a random variable; High moments of a random variable; Binomial, Poson, Normal and Exponential Distributions; Combined distribution of two random variables (discrete).

Statistical inference – point estimation and interval estimation, properties of a good estimator, estimation methods (moment method, maximum likelihood method, least squares method), hypothesis testing, basic concept of test, small sample and large sample test , Tests z, t, chi-square and f statistic, depending on the confidence interval.

10. Analysis of Variance – One way classified data and two way classified data analysis.

2.1 Comptroller and Auditor General of India – Constitutional provisions, role and responsibility.

2.2 Finance Commission – Role and Functions.

2.3 Basic Concepts of Economics and Introduction to Microeconomics: Definition, scope and nature of economics, methods of economic studies and central problems of an economy and production possibilities curve.

2.4 Theory of demand and supply: Meaning and determinants of demand, law of demand and elasticity of demand, price, income and cross elasticity; Theory of consumer behavior and indifference curve approach, meanings and determinants of supply, laws of supply and elasticity of supply.

2.5 Theory of Production and Costs: Meaning and Factors of Production, Rule of Production-Rule of Variables and Rules of Scale.

2.6 Farms in the Market and Pricing in Different Markets: Perfect Competition, Monopoly, Monopoly Competition and various forms of Oligopoly Advertising pricing in these markets.

Tier-III of SSC CGL 2021 exam is a descriptive test to test the written skills of the candidates in English / Hindi. The method of examination is offline (pen and paper mode) and students are required to write essays, précis, applications, letters etc. in this examination. The exam has 100 marks and the time allotted for the same is 60 minutes. The time allotted for the candidates belonging to PWD category has been increased to 80 minutes. “Compiler”

SSC CGL Tier-IV Syllabus (Skill Test)

The Tier-IV exam consists of pairs of skill sets required for certain government positions across the country.

DEST (Data Entry Speed ​​Test): The exam is conducted to check the typing speed of the candidate through SSC CGL 2021 exam ,For the post of Tax Assistant (Central Excise and Income Tax), . The candidates are given an article in English, which they have to write on the computer. A candidate is required to type 2000 words in 15 words.

CPT (Computer Proficiency Test): Word Processing, and the Commission demands a candidate to be proficient in it for the post of CSS, MEA, Inspector Spread Sheets and Generation of Slides are the three modules that are important for this exam (Central Excise). Is, Inspector (Preventive Officer), Inspector (Examiner).

SSC CGL Syllabus PDF: Important Points

Tier-I examination is mandatory for all the posts mentioned in SSC CGL 2021 notification. Candidates have to prepare for both Tier 2 and Tier 3 exam simultaneously. Therefore, candidates can appear for both Tier 2 and Tier 3 exams, but your Tier 3 answer sheets will be evaluated. Only when you clear the cut-off.
