Some Useful Important Links
- Candidates can register and apply on the recruitment website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in from July 2021.
- While filling the e-application, it is advisable to keep the relevant documents easily available to enable the personal details to be filled correctly.
- All relevant documents (preferably in original) Proof of Birth (as per 10th / 12th certificate), 10th mark sheet, 12th mark sheet, JEE (Main) -2021 scorecard (indicating All India Rank) and recent The passport size should be scanned in the original JPG / FITT format, to attach it while filling the application form.

- Print a copy of the online application form and mention it in para 22 note (c) along with the original certificate / documents while appearing for SSB interview.
Age: Born between 02 July 2001 to 01 January 2004 (both dates included).
Educational Qualification: Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10 + 2 pattern) or its equivalent examination from any board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% in English. Be marks (in either class) twelfth grade).
Who can apply: Candidates who have appeared for JEE (Main) -2021 (B.E./ B.Tech) examination. The call for Service Selection Board (SSB) will be issued on the basis of JEE (Main) – 2019 All India Rank.

The exemption in height is acceptable for the candidates occupying details of specific areas available on the Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gov.in.

Promotion: Promotion from sub-lieutenant to commander is based on compulsory course, sea time and time subject to completion of medical condition.

Group Insurance and Gratuity: A basic insurance cover of Rs. One crore (on contribution) as per the latest rules in force and gratuity will be given to the officer.

IHQ of MoD (Navy) reserves the right to fix the cut off for shortlisting applications for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Rank – 2019. There will be no communication on this account. SSB interviews for short listed candidates will be scheduled from August – October 2019 in Bangalore / Bhopal / Coimbatore / Visakhapatnam / Kolkata.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for SSB interview on their e-mail or through SMS. You are advised to retain your mobile number and email ID till the selection process is completed.
The SSB interview will be conducted in two phases for Indian navy btech entry scheme 2021.
Stage I Tests include intelligence tests, picture perception tests and group discussion. Candidates who fail to qualify in Phase I will be sent back the same day.
