Persons who do not come under the reservation scheme for SC, ST and OBC category and their total family income is less than 8 lakhs per year.
Individuals whose families are in possession of the following property (irrespective of family income) will not be classified under the EWS category-
- 5 acres of agricultural land and above,
- above in notified municipalities and Residential plots of 100 square yards,
- Residential area of equal or above 1000 sq ft ,
- Residential plots of 200 square yards and above in areas other than designated municipalities.
