UBSE UTET Exam Pattern – Uttarakhand TET Exam Scheme

The Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test is conducted in two phases namely UTET-I and UTET-II. Paper-I will be conducted for Primary Teacher Class 1 to 5 and Upper Primary Teacher Class 6 to 8. The UTET exam will be conducted for 150 marks each. The exam paper will consist of 150 objective type multiple choice questions. Questions will be asked from Child Development Pedagogy, First Language, Second Language, Mathematics and Science subjects.

UBSE UKTET Language-I Syllabus

Language comprehension – reading unseen passages – a play or prose, two passages, with questions of comprehension and a poem, inference, grammar and verbal ability (prose passages can be literature, science, persuasive or fiction)

Pedagogy of Language Development-  Principles of Language Teaching, Role of Listening and Speaking, Oral and Written Communication of Ideas, Learning and Acquisition, A Critical Perspective on the Role of Grammar in Language Learning for Communication Problems in the Miscellaneous Classroom; Language difficulties, mistakes and disorders, language skills, language features and how children use it as a tool, remedial learning, language assessment: speaking, listening, reading and writing.

Unit-I: Whole Numbers up to One Crore, Place Values, Comparison, Fundamental Mathematical Operations: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division; Indian currency.
