New India Assurance Company Limited wholly owned by Government of India will conduct an open market written test for the recruitment of Assistant posts in Class III Cadre. Candidates submitted there application form from date-/-/2022 to date-/-/2022. Candidates can check the recruitment details from the link given below.
About NIACL Assistant Exam:
All the candidates filled there application form successfully and now when they submitted their form, they start preparing for the exam. The exam will be conducted in two phases i.e. Tier I – Pre Exam and Tier II – Main Exam. Tier I – Pre Exam will be conducted soon.

About NIACL Assistant Exam Pattern:
The exam pattern for Assistant exam is as follows:-
For Tier I Exam
- The exam will be of objective type.
- The questions will be in the form of MCQs.
- The total number of questions in this exam will be 100 questions.
- The maximum marks for this exam will be 100 marks.
- Each question will be of 1 mark.
- The duration of the test is 01:00 hours (60 minutes).
- The language of the examination will be Hindi and English.
- Candidates have to qualify in each examination by securing passing marks to be decided by the company
- Adequate number of candidates will be shortlisted for Tier II-Main Examination, State-wise and Category-wise as decided by the Company.

For Tier II Examination
- The exam will be of objective type.
- The questions will be in the form of MCQs.
- There were total 200 questions in this exam.
- The maximum marks for this exam was 250 marks.
- The duration of the test is 02:00 hours (120 minutes).
- The language of the examination will be Hindi and English.
- Each candidate will be required to obtain a minimum aggregate marks (as decided by the company) in the Main Examination.
- Candidates who qualify in Online Main Examination will be shortlisted and called for Regional Language
- Test before final selection
- No separate marks will be awarded for Regional Language Test. This test will be of qualifying nature only

►The total marks obtained as above will be proportionately reduced on the basis of 35 marks.
Note – Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable for both- Preliminary and Main Examination) There will be penalty for wrong answers marked in the Online Objective Test. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty for arriving at the correct mark. No marks will be deducted for questions without attempt.
Regional Language Test:
Candidates shortlisted in the Online Main Examination will subsequently be called for Regional Language Test to be conducted by the Company at the selected centers. The name and address of the centre, time and date of this examination will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates on our website,
The regional language test will be of qualifying nature only. No marks will be allotted for this.
The marks obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination will be considered subject to their qualifying for the Regional Language Test while arriving at the final ranking. The candidate must be sufficiently high in the merit list to be shortlisted for the subsequent recruitment process
First list of documents to be submitted at the time of Regional Language Test:
The following documents in original and self-attested photocopies in support of the eligibility and identity of the candidate are to be compulsorily produced at the time of Regional Language Test, failing which the candidate will not be allowed to appear for it, failing which the requisite submission But the documents produced by the candidate at the time of Regional Language Test will debar his/her candidature from further participation in the recruitment process.
Printout of valid call letter for Regional Language Test
- Valid system generated printout of online application form registered for online examination.
Proof of date of birth (Birth certificate issued by competent municipal authorities or SSLCI class X certificate with DAB) - Original and photocopy of photo identity proof as shown in ‘Identity Verification of Advertisement’
- Mark-sheet and certificate for graduation/equivalent examination etc. Proper documents have to be submitted from the university to declare the result on or before the date of registration of application form.
- Caste certificate issued by the competent authority in the format prescribed by the Government of India in case of SC/ ST/ OBC candidates.
- In the case of candidates belonging to ABC category, the certificate should specifically contain a clause that the candidate does not belong to the creamy layer category outside the benefits of reservation for Other
- Backward Classes in civil posts and services under the Government of India. ABC caste certificate containing non-creamy layer clause should be valid as on the date of online registration. The caste name mentioned in the certificate must match the letter with the List I notification of the Central Government.
- Belonging to OBC category but coming under creamy layer and 1 or if their caste does not find a place in the central list, they are not entitled for OBC reservation. They should indicate their category as General in the online application form.
- In case of Persons with Disability category, candidates should submit Disability Certificate in the prescribed format issued by the authorities as per the Act. In case the candidate has availed the services of a scribe at the time of online examination, the duly filled in details of the scribe should be submitted in the prescribed format available on our website.
- Ex-Servicemen Candidates: (i) Candidates released/retired from Armed Forces are required to submit a certificate as per ‘Proforma A’. Such Ex-Servicemen candidates will have to produce a copy of the Discharge
- Certificate/Pension Payment Order and documentary proof of the last rank (original and acting) currently held at the time of Regional Language Test. (ii) Candidates who are still in the Armed Forces and desirous of applying under Ex-Servicemen category should submit ‘Proforma B’ from the Competent Authority, containing the declaration as well as having completed the Specific Period of Engagement (SPE). Show its due date.
- ‘Proforma C’. Such candidates whose SPE will be completed on or before 31.07.2021 are eligible to apply. Such candidates will have to submit a release letter and a self-declaration that they are entitled to the benefits admissible to ex-servicemen as per Govt. Rule of India (iii) Candidates who have completed their initial period of assignment and who are on extended assignment are required to submit a certificate as per
- ‘Proforma D’. (iv) Dependents of soldiers killed in action or who have become seriously incapacitated shall submit satisfactory documentary proof that they are dependents of soldiers killed in action or severely disabled and an affidavit waiving exemption
- Candidates serving in Government/Semi Government Offices/Public Sector Undertakings (including
- Nationalized Banks and Financial Institutions) and other institutions are required to produce a “No
- Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of Regional Language Test, failing which their candidature will not be considered. and traveling expenses, if any, otherwise admissible, will not be paid.
Final Selection :
Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in Online Main Examination subject to qualifying for Regional Language Test. Merely fulfilling the eligibility criteria does not entitle a candidate to be called for online test and regional language test.
The final merit list will be prepared state-wise and category-wise in descending order of marks obtained by the candidates in the online main examination subject to qualifying the regional language test. Candidates falling within the number of vacancies in the merit list will be considered for appointment subject to medical fitness. Candidates will be informed about the same through the website of the company
About NIACL Assistant Syllabus :-
New India Assurance Assistant Syllabus is given below:-
Reasoning: Questions will be asked from similarities, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relational concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetic. Number Series, Non-Verbal Series, Coding and Decoding, Statement Conclusion, Jurisdictional Reasoning.
English Language: Verbs, Prepositions, Adverbs, Subject-Verb Agreement, Error Correction/Recognition, Tenses, Sentence Rearrangement, Fill in the Blanks with Articles etc., Comprehension, Overlooked Passages, Vocabulary, Synonyms and Antonyms Usage, Based on Vocabulary Answering questions and proficiency in grammar, language.
General Awareness: The objective of the questions will be to test the general awareness of the candidate about the environment around him and its application in the society. The questions will also be designed to test knowledge of current events and such matters of everyday observation and experience as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions related to history, culture related to India and its neighboring countries. Geography, Economics, General Politics, Scientific Research etc.
Numerical Ability: Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time and Work, Area, Profit and Loss, Simple and Compound Interest, Time and Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem on Age, Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. , Date Interpretation is the section which has to be focused.
Computer Knowledge: Text Formatting of Paragraphs, Table Insertion, Print and Saving Skills, File Transfer, Website Searching, Browsing and Downloading, E-mail, Pen Drive usage, and other software etc. and accounting programs, etc. Computer Fundamentals, Internet Services Available on Windows (MS-Windows), MS-Office: Word Processing (MS-Word), Spread Sheet (MS-Excel), Presentation Knowledge (MS-Powerpoint), MS Internet, Communication Technology, Networking Concepts access and use.
