About Recruitment :-
Food Corporation of India has recently announced the recruitment of 1240 posts of Chowkidar in Punjab Region. All those candidates who filled there application form who are interested in watchman post job from different sector. Candidates submitted their applications as on the date of submission. Here candidates can check the detailed recruitment from the link given below.
Application was invited from 11 October 2021 for Punjab region. The last date was 10 November 2021.
About Exam :-
All the candidates successfully submitted their application form and now they are going to take the exam. Most of the region provided the exam date. The exam will be of written type. The exam will be started from –/–/2021 for Punjab region and many more.

for Punjab region
- The examination will be of written objective type.
- The time duration of the exam will be 1:30 hours (90 minutes).
- The question papers of the written examination will be trilingual i.e. in English, Hindi and regional language.
- The written test conducted will be trilingual (i.e. Hindi, English and Punjabi language).
- There will be no negative marking for wrong answer.

- A combined merit list will be prepared on the basis of Raw Scores/Marks obtained by the candidate.
For Haryana Region
- The Exam will be Written Objective Type.
- There will be No Negative Marking.
- Each Question Will be of 01 Marks.
- The Time Duration for the Examination Will be 1:30 Hours (90Minutes).
- The Question Papers for Written Test will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi.

- The question papers of the written examination will be trilingual (Hindi, English and Gujarati).
Uttarakhand Region
- There will be 120 questions based on topics like General English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness & Current Affairs.
- There will be no negative marking.
- Each question will be of 01 mark.
- The question papers of the written examination will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi.
Himachal region
- There will be 100 questions based on the subject General Knowledge, Aptitude which includes Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, Current Events and Numerical Ability.
- Each question will be of 01 mark.
- There will be no negative marking.
- The question papers of the written examination will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi.
Delhi Region
There will be 120 questions based on General Knowledge, Aptitude which includes Reasoning, English Language, General Awareness, Current Events and Numerical Ability.
- Each question will be of 01 mark.
- There will be no negative marking.
- The question papers of the written examination will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi.
Uttar Pradesh (UP) region and Jammu and Kashmir region
- There will be 120 questions based on General Knowledge & General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning, Language (Hindi & English) and Current Affairs.
- All questions are worth 1 mark.
- There will be no negative marking for wrong answer.
- The question papers of the written examination will be bilingual i.e. in both English and Hindi.
Odisha Region
There will be 120 questions based on Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, General Awareness and General English.
All questions are of 1 (one) mark and there will be 0.25 negative marking for each wrong answer.

About FCI Watchman Syllabus :-
The exam syllabus is as follows:
Quantitative Aptitude: Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, Profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem on Age, Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. . Candidates need to focus on the basics of Mathematics and Simplification.
General Awareness: Questions will be asked from Indian History, Indian Polity, Current Events, Geography, Economy etc. The focus will be on current national and international events, banking, sports etc.
Note:- Candidates are advised to focus on World History and World Geography, as questions from this part often come up in objective tests.
Reasoning: Questions will be asked from Similarities, Similarities and Differences, Spatial Visualization, Spatial Orientation, Problem Solving, Analysis, Judgment, Decision Making, Visual Memory, Discrimination, Observation, Relationship Concept, Arithmetic Reasoning, Verbal and Figure, Non Verbal Reasoning.
General English/Hindi: Passage, Preposition, Correction of Sentences, Active Passive Voice, Direct Indirect Sentence, Verb/Tense/Non-finite, Punctuation, Substituting Phraseological Verbs for Expression, Synonyms and Antonyms, Use of Adjectives, Compound Prepositions , determiner, use of pronouns.
Trivia: Culture and Religion, Soil, Rivers, Mountains, Ports, Inland Ports, Freedom Movement, Sports: Championships / Winners / Conditions / No. Players, Defence, Wars and Neighbors, Current Affairs, Important National Facts about India, Heritage and Art, Dance, History, Languages, Capitals and Currencies, National: Birds / Animals / Sports / Flowers / Anthem / Songs / Flags / Monuments , Eminent Personalities, Common Names, Full Forms and Abbreviations, Discovery, Diseases and Nutrition, Awards and Authors.
Current Affairs: On current events of national and international importance, candidates will be expected to have knowledge about them.
Mathematics: Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit and Loss, Discount, Simple and Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Number System with Questions on Tables and Graphs. e.t.c.
English Language and Grammar: This will be a test of English comprehension. Questions will be asked from Antonyms, Synonyms, Grammar, One Word Substitution, Idioms and Phrases, Passage, Cloze Test, Jumble Sentence etc.
