Army Agniveer Bharti 2022 : In Almora district of Uttarakhand, a youth has been arrested while trying to appear in the ongoing preliminary recruitment examination under the Agniveer scheme for the Indian Army on the basis of fake documents. Almora Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Pradeep Rai said on Wednesday that he had made all possible arrangements for the ongoing Agniveer recruitment examination at Somnath Maidan in Ranikhet. During this, during the joint proceedings of Military Intelligence, Military Police and Recruitment Office on Tuesday, a youth was caught on the basis of fake suspicious documents and handed over to the police.

He said that after that the police came to know from the investigation and evidence that a youth Tahir Khan is a resident of Secunderabad, district Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh). Who has made his fake permanent residence, caste residence certificate, Aadhar card from Haldwani. The SSP said that the registration number recorded in the admit card issued to the said Tahir Khan is registered in the name of another person. Based on the complaint of the ARO Recruitment Board, Tahir Khan above was arrested in the case. He said that fake caste certificate, permanent residence certificate, high school certificate and Aadhar card have been recovered from the possession of the arrested youth.
4760 candidates appeared on the seventh day
On Thursday, 4760 candidates appeared on the seventh day of the recruitment examination conducted under the Agniveer scheme for the Indian Army in the Kotdwar suburb of Pauri Garhwal district in Uttarakhand. Army sources said that 5842 candidates from two tehsils of Pauri Garhwal district and three tehsils of Tehri Garhwal had registered, out of which a total of 4760 candidates appeared. It is to be mentioned that more than 1,08,000 candidates have registered for the recruitment across the state of Uttarakhand. Civil administration has assisted and mobilized maximum resources in organizing the rally.
