Bastar Fighter Constable – 300 Posts

Age Limit :

1. The age of the general caste candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 28 years as on 01.01.2021.
2. If candidates belonging to SC, ST and Backward Classes will be given a relaxation of maximum 5 years in the upper age limit.
3. As per the provisions of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Special Provisions for the Appointment of Women) Rules, 1997, upper age limit will be relaxable up to 10 years for the local women candidates of the state of Chhattisgarh.
4. Upper age limit is also relaxable to that extent and subject to the following conditions:

• A candidate who is a permanent Government servant should not exceed 36 years of age.
• The age of the candidate holding a temporary post and applying for any other post should not be more than 36 years. This concession will also be admissible to the employees getting salary from the Contingency Fund, the overburdened employees and the employees working under the Project Implementation Committee.
• If a candidate who is a retrenched Government servant, the total temporary service rendered by him out of his age shall not exceed seven years, even if it is attributable to the services rendered in more than one period, reduced but the resulting age shall not exceed the upper age limit of three years.

Pay scale :

Level-4 under the Pay Scale Matrix approved by the Government and allowances as admissible from time to time. (New Contributory Pension Scheme will be applicable to the selected candidates (effective from the year 2004))

Eligibility Condition:

It is mandatory for the applicant to be a local resident of the concerned district.

Educational Qualifications :

• 10th passed from a school located in Chhattisgarh/Madhya Pradesh state and SC candidates passing 5th class will also be eligible.
• All category candidates belonging to Naxal affected families in the state and families residing in relief camps in Naxal affected areas will be eligible even after passing 5th standard.
• Must possess the prescribed educational qualification as on the last date of submission of application form. It will be the responsibility of the applicant to attach the educational qualification certificate with the application form.
