Eligibility Criteria:
Only one dependent family member of Assam Rifles who died in action, died while in service, discharged from service on medical grounds and missing in service are eligible to apply for compassionate ground appointment.

Pay Scale and other allowances will be as admissible to Assam Rifles Personnel.
Educational Qualification of Assam Rifles Tradesman Recruitment 2022:

| Clerk (for Male and Female both) | Havildar | (a) Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination from recognized Board/University or equivalent. (b) Skill Test Norms on Computer: English Typing with minimum speed of 35 words per minute on Computer or Hindi Typing with minimum speed of 30 words per minute on Computer (time allowed-10 minutes). |
| Radio Mechanic (RM) (Male candidates only) | Warrant Officer | (a) 10th class from a recognized Board with Diploma in Radio and Television Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Home Appliances from any Institute recognized by the Central Government or State Government. or (b) 12th Class or Intermediate or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institute with 50% marks. Trade (Skill) Test Criteria Practical knowledge of business, including checking for radio eqpt malfunctions, detecting faults such as loose connections, broken wires, or burnt components, using test eqpts, installing mobile radio transmissions, adjusting, repairing radio signals Receiving eQPTs, the system will be assessed by the Radio Communications Trade (Skill Test) Board, removing and replacing defective components and parts such as conductors, resistors, semiconductors and integrated circuits using hand tools, repair circuits, wiring and soldering. |
| Operator Radio & Line (for Male Candidates only) | Havildar | (a) 10th class from a recognized Board and two years Industrial Training Institute in Radio and Television or Electronics from a recognized Institute. or (b) 12th class pass or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects of study from a recognized Board or University or Institute. business test criteria Basic knowledge in AC and DC current, rectification fault in electric circuit, control of MCB, fuse, earthing system, lighting system, handling of generator will be assessed by trade (skill) test. |
| Armourer (for Male candidates only) | Rifleman | 10th class pass from a recognised Board. Trade Test Norms Basic aptitude (practical in nature) in the trade will be assessed by the Trade (Skill) Test. |
| Laboratory Assistant (for Male Candidates only) | Rifleman | 10th class passed with English, Maths, Science and Biology from a recognised board. Trade Test Norms Basic aptitude (practical in nature) in the trade will be assessed by the Trade (Skill) Test. |
| Nursing Assistant (for Male candidates only) | Rifleman | 10th class passed with English, Mathematics and Science with Biology from a recognised board. Trade Test Norms Basic aptitude (practical in nature) in the trade will be assessed by the Trade (Skill) Test. |
| Washerman (for Male candidates only) | Rifleman | 10th class pass from a recognised Board. Trade Test Norms Practical knowledge in washer man skills and knowledge of different types of fabrics, ironing, dry cleaning and operation of washing machines will be assessed by the Trade (Skill) Test. |
| AYA (for Female candidates only) | Rifleman | 10th class passed from a recognised Board. Trade Test Norms Basic aptitude (practical in nature) in the trade will be assessed by the Trade (Skill) Test. |
