FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Stadium: Education City Stadium: The Education City Stadium in Al Rayan, Qatar was developed for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The stadium is in Education City, Qatar Foundation. University teams will use 25,000 seats after the World Cup. The stadium staged its first Qatar Stars League match on 3 September 2020.
The stadium is located on the outskirts of Doha and has approximately 40,000 seats. The stadium’s nickname is “Diamond in the Desert”. This stadium is eco-friendly. May 2019 GSAS Rating: 5 stars.
Education City Stadium
JPAC is the manufacturer of JV Stadium; Pattern Design is the lead designer, and Buro Happold did the engineering.
Education City Ground is the eighth stadium for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. It opened on June 15, 2020.
