UPPSC PCS Recruitment :
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has recently announced and invited online application from eligible candidates for the posts of Combined State/ Higher Subordinate Services (PCS). The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission will soon conduct the written examination for the posts of Combined State / Higher Subordinate Services (PCS). Admit card :
All the candidates should download their admit card because if any candidate does not have the admit card then that candidate cannot give the exam. How to Download UPPSC PCS Admit Card:-
- Candidates visit the official website of UPPSC.
- Open the notification for the respective post displayed on the screen.
- Now find the “Download Admit Card” option.
- Now here you will get the option of Download Admit Card.
- Login with Provisional ID and Password.
- Click on Download Admit Card Option Submit.
- Download and print the admit card for future reference.
UPPSC PCS Exam Pattern:-
The exam pattern for Provincial Civil Services (PCS) written exam is as follows:-
Pre exam pattern
- The written test will be of objective type multiple choice.
- There will be two compulsory papers in the preliminary exam.
- The paper will be of 200 marks and of two hours duration.
- Both the papers will be objective type and multiple choice having 150-100 questions respectively.
- For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one-third (0.33) of the marks
- assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
Pay attention:
Paper-II of the Preliminary Examination will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks of 33%.
It is mandatory for the candidates to appear in both the papers of the preliminary examination for the purpose of evaluation. Hence a candidate will be disqualified if he/she does not appear in both the papers.
The merit of the candidates will be determined on the basis of marks
Main Exam Pattern
General Hindi, Essay and General Studies (1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th paper)
The papers will be of conventional type and three hours are given to solve the questions.
03:00 Hours is given for Optional Question Papers.
A maximum of two hundred marks have been allotted for each optional question paper.

Note: A candidate will be required to obtain such minimum marks in the compulsory paper of General Hindi, as may be prescribed by the Government or the Commission, as the case may be. All the question papers of optional subject will have two sections and each section will consist of four questions. Candidates have to answer only five questions while they have to select minimum two questions from each section.
Note: A candidate will not be allowed to offer more than one subject from the Below Subjects. There Will be Only 01 Optional Subject –
